A Special Visit from HRH The Princess Royal

A once in a lifetime opportunity like this doesn’t come up very often… A long standing client and friends of mine calls me up during lockdown to tell me how exciting this event was going to be! I couldn’t contain myself when they told me that HRH The Princess Royal is coming to join us for a special events ceremony.

I jumped up in the air with joy, trying not to sound over excited on the phone… This would be a huge opportunity to be part of and an absolute honour to be invited and to take photos of HRH the Princess Royal.

Also special guest, Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of County and City of Bristol, Mrs Peaches Golding was present. I just love how the Princess and Mrs Golding had matching spring / summer wardrobes, the colours just worked like magic against the leafy greens and sky blue background. I was so happy the event turned out to be an absolute success. We had concerns of course with the weather and how I was going to take photos of the Princess ( with Social distancing ) was always on the back of my mind, I kept the angle was wide as possible to leave as much room surrounding HRH. Then all the photos required approval from the Royal Palace before I could even show these rather rare and special photos online. The weather actually turned out perfect too, more cloudy than sunny…
